The game

The first half was extremely tight and evenly balanced. Despite trying to impose itself, the Mais Querido struggled against the opposing team's strong marking and struggled. The good moments came from a set piece from a free kick by Carol Martins and, later, a corner kick by Isabela Nunes. Brendha headed the ball, but the goalkeeper saved. Thus, the score remained unchanged going into halftime.

In the second half, Flamengo tried to create chances, but failed. The match became a tight, contested affair, and concentrated in the middle. The changes didn't work, and the intensity dropped significantly. In stoppage time, Isabela Nunes crossed, Emilly fought back, and Alice shot over the bar. It was the final act before the final whistle: 0-0, and everything was open for the return leg.
