Maisa is the first reinforcement for the women's football team for the 2026 season

Flamengo announced this Thursday (8) the first signing for women's football for the 2026 season. It is left-back Maisa, who was at América-MG. The 23-year-old athlete arrives to reinforce the red-black squad in the disputes of Copa Rio, Campeonato Brasileiro, Copa do Brasil and Campeonato Carioca.
Originally from Limeira-SP, Maisa was discovered by Ferroviária, where she played between 2019 and 2022, alternating between the under-20 and professional teams. At the Araraquara-SP club, she won the São Paulo state championship in the under-20 category. Before joining América-MG, the left-back played for Botafogo.
“My expectations are the best possible. I am very happy and motivated to wear the Flamengo jersey, such a victorious club. I hope to arrive and contribute in whatever way is needed; it will be an honor to work with people I have always admired. So, I am focused on seeking excellence in my work and having a good season, winning titles with this jersey,” said Maisa.
