Arrascaeta is honored for his 300 games with the Sacred Mantle

Uruguayan star De Arrascaeta was honored this Thursday at Ninho do Urubu for his 300th appearance for the Manto Sagrado. He reached the milestone last Saturday in the 1-0 victory over Vasco da Gama in the first leg of the Campeonato Carioca semifinal. Arrasca received jersey number 300 from the hands of football technical director José Boto. 

"Whenever I have the opportunity to speak, I praise Flamengo. Since I arrived, fans, teammates, and management have always embraced me, cared for me, and supported me so I could perform at my best on the field. I joke that I'm practically a Carioca now. I'm happy here," Arrasca said in a press conference.

At Flamengo, the player won 14 titles: 4 Cariocas (2019, 2020, 2021 and 2024), 3 Brazilian Super Cups (2020, 2021 and 2025), 2 Brazilian Championships (2019 and 2020), 2 Brazilian Cups (2022 and 2024), 2 Libertadores (2019 and 2022) and 1 Recopa (2020). He also scored 75 goals and contributed 92 assists.

With Arrasca, Mengão returns to the field this Saturday, at 17:45 pm, at Maracanã, to face Vasco, in the second leg of the Cariocão semifinal.
