Mengão returns to the field this Sunday (31) to face Grêmio, at 16 pm, at Maracanã, for the 22nd round of the Brasileirão. Rubro-Negro comes from a 8-0 thrashing of Vitória, last Monday (25), and will be looking for another victory at home to maintain the advantage at the top of the competition.
Coach Filipe Luís led the final training session at Ninho do Urubu on Saturday morning (30) to determine the team that will take the field against the Gauchos. Left-back Alex Sandro is out for the match with a muscle injury in his left calf. Jorginho is also doubtful. The midfielder felt muscle discomfort and has been working separately in recent days.
