Contrary to reports circulating across media platforms, Flamengo's Medical Department clarifies that:

Gonzalo Plata is fully fit for elite-level football. The player has been performing normally for both Flamengo and Ecuador's national team and has no history of surgical procedures, fractures or serious chronic conditions.

For this reason, Flamengo's Medical Department received with absolute surprise and skepticism the notification that the athlete failed to meet Dynamo Moscow's medical parameters.

Flamengo will pursue all available remedies against the negligence and devaluation imposed on the club and its player. The outcome experienced by both Flamengo and Botafogo is a direct result of amateurism and irresponsibility demonstrated by Dynamo Moscow in closing these negotiations.
