Coutinho and Boucas shine as Flamengo stars deliver at South American Games

Flamengo's artistic gymnastics programme made its mark at the South American Games in Santa Fé. Representing Brazil, Gabi Boucas and Júlia Coutinho wrapped up the competition with standout performances and six combined medals, contributing directly to Brazil's impressive 12-medal run in artistic gymnastics.
Boucas emerged as one of Brazil's key performers. Making her South American Games debut, the Flamengo gymnast secured three medals: gold on balance beam with a score of 13.267 points, plus silver finishes in the all-around and team competitions.
Coutinho also reached the podium three times. The Rubro-Negro athlete claimed silver with the team, bronze on uneven bars with 12.634 points, and added another silver medal on floor exercise.
With six medals from the two athletes, Flamengo's gymnastics programme once again demonstrated the strength of its rising stars while providing a significant boost to Brazil's overall performance at the South American Games.
