Saraiva Shines as Flamengo's Gymnastics Team Delivers in Hungary

Flamengo's artistic gymnastics team concluded the Szombathely stage of the World Cup in Hungary with an impressive five-medal haul: two gold, two silver and one bronze. The standout performance came from Flavia Saraiva, who climbed the podium in all three finals she competed in, capturing two titles on the uneven bars and balance beam, plus silver on the floor exercise.

Saraiva's run began on Saturday, September 19, when she topped the podium on the uneven bars. The following day, she returned to dominate the balance beam and secured her second gold of the competition. To cap off the weekend, she earned silver on floor exercise, finishing with three medals across three disciplines.

The balance beam final also showcased Flamengo's depth. Rebeca Andrade took silver behind Saraiva, placing two Rubro-Negro athletes in the top two positions on the podium. On floor exercise, Lorrane Oliveira rounded out the medals haul with bronze, completing a successful showing for Flamengo's gymnasts in Hungary.

The five-medal performance underscores the team's strong form heading into the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, set to take place from October 17-25 in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
