Clube de Regatas do Flamengo announces the arrival of new professionals to strengthen its marketing and communications team.
The managers joining the team are:
Cristiano Fonseca - FlaTV: With a solid marketing career, Cristiano has accumulated experience at Ambev and Google over the past 15 years, leading areas such as Strategy & Operations, B2B Marketing, communications, and events. He holds a degree in Business Administration from PUC-Rio, an MBA in Marketing from FGV, and has completed extension courses at Wharton and Stanford.
Paulo Cesar Pereira Filho - Social Media: A lawyer by training, Paulo César holds postgraduate degrees in Marketing and Sports Management from ESPM and Trevisan. Founder of a sports marketing consulting firm, he has expertise in digital transformation projects and brand enhancement in sports.
Marcela Dantas - Events and Activations: Public Relations professional with a postgraduate degree in Marketing and a consolidated career spanning over 26 years in Marketing and Communications. He has extensive experience working with companies in the Entertainment, Culture, Telecom, Insurance, and Communications and Events Agencies sectors. In his most recent position, he served as Marketing Manager at Icatu Seguros for over four years, leading strategic initiatives in Sponsorships, Events, Incentive Travel (domestic and international), Brand Management, and Press Relations.
Marcelo Rocha - Products and apparel: An executive with over 40 years of experience in the textile industry and fashion retail, Marcelo has worked for brands such as Osklen, Richards, and Benetton. He has worked in collection development, branding, and fashion event organization, building a career with premium brands and traditional textile industries.
Mariucha Moneró - Institutional Press: She has worked in communications for over 30 years. A sports journalist, she was the first female reporter for a Brazilian newspaper to cover a World Cup. In addition to the World Cup, she has covered the Olympic Games, Formula 1, and other major sports events. She has had prominent roles at Jornal do Brasil and at communications agencies she founded and managed. A speaker, she has written two books.
Marcelo Conti Baltazar - Relationship with partners: Administrator with an MBA in Strategic Management. He has worked in Commercial, Operations, Customer Service, Distribution Channels, Sales and Services at telecom, car rental, and vehicle distribution companies. A member of Flamengo for 36 years, he has held various board positions, including Vice President and President of the General Assembly (2019/2021).
Caio de Araujo - Fla Gávea Communications: With over 10 years of experience, Caio holds a degree in Business Administration from Unisociesc/FGV, an MBA in Marketing, and a specialization in Branding from ESPM/Rio. He worked at the Nilópolis City Hall, aligning communications and digital marketing, in addition to leading cultural projects in Baixada Fluminense.
The Marketing and Communications area is now composed of three departments:
Flavia da Justa, responsible for the communications department, which now has the scope of communications and content.
Roberto Trinas, leading the marketing department focused on fan relations (members, matchday, licensing and events).
Marcos Senna, who was already at the club, for commercial marketing (sponsorship and broadcasting rights).
The arrival of these professionals reinforces Flamengo's commitment to modernization and the pursuit of increasingly impressive results in marketing and communications. Together, they bring a combination of innovation, strategy, and vision to strengthen the relationship with the club's fans and partners.
