Sesc RJ Flamengo is defeated by Gerdau Minas in the Superliga

Sesc RJ Flamengo was defeated by Gerdau Minas, this Friday (06.03), by 3-0, at Arena UniBH, in Belo Horizonte, for the eighth round of the second leg of the Women's Superliga: 23-25, 28-30 and 17-25. Coach Bernardinho's team remains in second place in the competition, with 46 points, behind their Minas Gerais rival, who has 50.

Back in the starting lineup after recovering from a sprained left ankle, outside hitter Simone Lee was the top scorer of the match with 20 points, followed by opposite hitter Tainara with 14. Outside hitter Karina highlighted that there is time to adjust the negative aspects, thinking about the decisive phase of the competition.

"We still have a lot of work to do. Many things happened in this game and we need to evaluate what's not working, what we're doing wrong, and what we can improve for the rest of the Superliga. We'll keep working, after all, we still have a long road ahead and next week we'll be looking to recover in front of our fans," Karina assessed.
