Flamengo's campaign in the Brazilian U-17 Championship came to an end on Tuesday (13th) following a 3-1 defeat to Corinthians at Estádio Alfredo Schürig in São Paulo, in the second phase return leg. João Vitor Couto struck in added time to level the aggregate score, but Miguel Moscardo's immediate response secured the São Paulo side's passage to the next round.
In the first leg, the Young Nest secured a 1-0 victory courtesy of Couto and arrived at the decisive clash with the advantage. The final scoreline, however, saw Corinthians claim a 3-2 aggregate triumph and advance.

Match Report
The opening half was balanced until the 39th minute, when Tupã converted from Léo Rodrigues' pass to put Corinthians ahead. In added time, at 46 minutes, Léo Rodrigues extended the lead for the São Paulo outfit, who entered the interval with a 2-0 advantage and holding the aggregate edge.
Upon the resumption, Flamengo intensified their offensive approach and increased their presence going forward. The rubro-negro persistence was rewarded at 46 minutes in the second half, with a headed finish from João Vitor Couto following a cross by Thomas Robson.
With that goal, the tie would have been decided on penalties. That momentum, however, was halted just two minutes later. At 48 minutes, Miguel Moscardo scored Corinthians' third to seal a 3-1 victory and an aggregate scoreline of 3-2.
