Born in Rio de Janeiro, Núbia began her journey in the Flamengo academy in September 2021. Since then, she has achieved significant milestones at youth level—including Copa do Brasil U-20 glory in 2023 and the Brazilian U-20 Championship in 2024, where she scored twice in the final—before establishing herself as a key player in the senior team. Her rise reflects both technical development and the unwavering commitment that defines Flamengo's top talents. At 112 appearances, Núbia has become the first academy graduate to reach the 100-game milestone in club history. Her influence extends beyond statistics: she has become an inspiration to younger players and now receives recognition commensurate with her contributions. Today she put pen to paper on a new deal running through 2029. "I'm honestly speechless right now," Núbia said. "It's an enormous joy to stay here and continue building my story at the club. I remember my first day, unsure of what lay ahead, and today I'm living everything I've ever dreamed of. The club believed in me from the U-18 level, so this renewal is the fruit of years of hard work. I'll keep doing my part with humility and dedication. I want to win many trophies." Known for her infectious enthusiasm off the pitch, Núbia has shown marked improvement over recent seasons. She was instrumental in Flamengo's last two Carioca State Championship victories, claimed a regular starting role, and has not relinquished it. Maintaining that form is paramount as she enters a new chapter. "Everything has been a process," she reflected. "My development has been excellent. Flamengo does outstanding work in the youth categories, and the number of girls in the senior team proves it. I knew my moment would come, waited patiently for opportunities, and delivered. But I want more. It's reassuring to know that things happen when you do your part." As she approaches five years at the club, Núbia views this moment as a career milestone. The sense of fulfillment is palpable, and her ambition is clear: to lead Flamengo to the summit of women's football—while never forgetting where she came from. "I want to dedicate this to my family. Thank you for all your support, for always being with me," she concluded. "Renewing with Flamengo for three more years was a decision made with complete peace of mind. I hope to repay this faith with strong performances, and I want to help make this club a powerhouse in women's football."
