Agustín Rossi's week began in remarkable fashion. After reaching 200 appearances for Flamengo in the victory against Atlético-MG on Monday (26) in Round 32 of the Brazilian Championship at the Maracanã, the goalkeeper received a commemorative shirt on Tuesday morning (27). The presentation was made by the club's director of football, José Boto.
In just over three years at the club, the Argentine has built a career marked by individual records and collective achievements. Reflecting on his milestones, Rossi expressed pride at etching his name into Rubro-Negro history.
"When I arrived, one of my first statements was that I wanted to write my story here at this club. Today, reaching tenth place among goalkeepers with the most appearances for Flamengo, being the goalkeeper with the most minutes without conceding and reaching the top in games without a goal in this century is very important and gratifying for me."

Since his debut on September 20, 2023, in a goalless draw with Goiás in Round 24 of the Brazilian Championship, the number 1 has recorded 117 wins, 51 draws and 32 defeats. During this period, he conceded 147 goals and kept a clean sheet in 95 matches.
In 2026 alone, the Argentine has defended the Rubro-Negro shirt in 52 opportunities, with 30 wins, 14 draws and eight defeats. Over the season, he conceded 46 goals and contributed one assist.
Rossi also holds the record for most consecutive minutes without conceding in Flamengo's history. Counting only official matches, the goalkeeper went 1,134 minutes without conceding during the first half of 2024.
His string of appearances has also placed the Argentine among the ten goalkeepers with the most games for the club. With 198 matches, he equaled Yustrich and entered the top 10. In the following match, upon reaching 199 appearances, he surpassed the former goalkeeper and took tenth place outright.
In penalty shootouts for Flamengo, the number 1 has also posted impressive numbers. Of the 39 penalties he has faced, he has saved 12 (30.8%), seen two go wide and one strike the post. The remaining 24 resulted in goals (61.5%).
A native of Buenos Aires, Rossi has equaled Paraguayan Reyes in fifth place among players born outside Brazil with the most appearances for the club. He is also the second foreign goalkeeper to reach 200 outings for Flamengo. The first was García, who ended his spell with 273 games.
Throughout his Flamengo career, the Argentine has won seven titles: the Carioca Championship three times (2024, 2025 and 2026), the Copa do Brasil in 2024, the Copa Supercopa do Brasil in 2025, the CONMEBOL Libertadores in 2025 and the Brazilian Championship in 2025.
"I hope to continue being part of Flamengo's history for many years to come. My family and I are very happy here, and I have only to thank the club and everyone who works with us to achieve these marks."
Flamengo is the club for which the number 1 has played the most official matches. Before arriving in Rio de Janeiro, the goalkeeper made 151 appearances for Boca Juniors, 27 for Lanús, 20 for Chacarita Juniors — where he began his professional career — 11 for Defensa y Justicia, eight for Al-Nassr, five for Antofagasta and three for Estudiantes.
