Flamengo knows its opponents in the Conmebol Libertadores 2026

On Thursday night (19), Flamengo learned its opponents in the 2026 Conmebol Libertadores. In Luque, Paraguay, the entity held the draw that defined the groups for the first phase of the continental competition. Current champion and first Brazilian to win the title four times, the Rubro-Negro is in Group A alongside Estudiantes (Argentina), Cusco (Peru) and Independiente Medellín (Colombia). The first round will be played between April 7 and 9.

During the draw, the president of Conmebol, Alejandro Domínguez, announced that the champion of the 2026 Libertadores will receive a prize of US$25 million (R$131 million at the current exchange rate). The Libertadores final is scheduled for November 29th in Montevideo, Uruguay.
