Flamengo continues its preparations for the classic against Vasco, the first leg of the Carioca semifinal

The preparation continues! This Thursday morning (27), at Ninho do Urubu, Mengão trained once again with an eye on the classic against Vasco, the first leg of the semifinal of the Campeonato Carioca. Coach Filipe Luís carried out some tactical work with the players to be able to define the eleven that will start the match, scheduled for Saturday, at 17:45 pm, at Nilton Santos.

Uruguayan star De Arrascaeta, who has been with the Red-Blacks since 2019, will complete 300 appearances for the Sacred Mantle in this derby. The number 10 and second-most-capped foreigner for the club, he has already scored 75 goals and provided 91 assists. He has won 14 titles for the "Mais Querido" (Most Beloved).

The red-and-black training session featured a distinguished visit from the club's former goalkeeper Ubaldo Fillol. Fillol swapped jerseys with his compatriot Rossi, the current starting goalkeeper for the red-and-blacks.
