The 27-year-old Colombian is another important name joining the Flamengo squad for the remainder of the season. He will wear the number 15 jersey.

Born in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, Carrascal was born and raised at Millonarios (COL), but rose to prominence in South America with River Plate (ARG). In Europe, he played for two major Russian clubs: CSKA, with 45 appearances and seven goals, and Dynamo Moscow, with eight goals and three assists in 35 matches.
The Colombian's main characteristic is his versatility. Extremely technical, he plays as an attacking midfielder and adapts to various attacking positions, highlighting his short dribbling and excellent vision. Carrascal is the club's fourth signing in the transfer window following the Club World Cup.
