Flamengo have staged the second edition of the Rubro-Negro Friendly Tournament, a competition that brought together members who regularly participate in matches at the club's social facilities. Contested in the open category, the tournament featured 18 matches, culminating in a final on Saturday, October 31, at the synthetic pitch. PRN defeated Flapel 1 by 2-1 to claim the title.
The competition began with a group phase and reached its climax on Saturday with the semifinals and final. In the first semifinal, Flapel 1 edged past Flapel 2 by 1-0 to secure a place in the final. In the other half, PRN dispatched PFG 4-0. In the final showdown, supporters cheered as PRN struck back with a late goal in the second half and secured victory over Flapel 1, sealing their campaign with the trophy.

Beyond the silverware, the tournament also recognized individual standouts. Lucas Lopes Alves of Flapel 1 finished as the tournament's top scorer with seven goals. Marco Aurélio Cantoc of PRN earned the award for best goalkeeper after conceding the fewest goals throughout the competition.
The presentation of awards was conducted by Andrade, a former player and World Cup winner with Flamengo, alongside Ricardo Lomba, president of the Deliberative Council.

Organized by the Social Directorate, the initiative transformed the members' traditional friendly matches into a structured competition with qualifying stages and a title race. Ana Cláudia Cloves, coordinator of member services and relations, oversaw the tournament's organization. "This tournament grew out of a desire from our members, and it's vital for fostering camaraderie, enjoyment, and what the club means to them—belonging. It's a project of tremendous importance to club life", she stated. The expectation is that the Rubro-Negro Friendly Tournament will be held at least once per year.
For members, the competition also offered the chance to experience friendly matches in a fresh format. "Normally we play on different days, but the tournament brings us together more closely. I think this initiative is very positive, and I hope they continue offering this kind of event to members because it means a lot. We bring our families, we experience something different at the club", reflected Wanderson Teixeira, known as Tardelli and a PRN participant.
