Clube de Regatas do Flamengo views with concern the attempts by the Public Ministry of the State of Rio de Janeiro to interfere in the determination of venues for football matches. Flamengo acknowledges and respects the constitutional role of the Public Ministry, but maintains that respect for institutions must also include respect for the limits and competencies of each body.

If the responsible authorities have technically certified the conditions for holding a match, the question must be posed: on what technical grounds does the Public Ministry intend to disregard these reports and substitute its judgment for that of the entity directly accountable for this responsibility?

It is not the Public Ministry's role to dictate where clubs must play their matches. Should there exist technical elements that invalidate the presented reports, these must be demonstrated objectively.

Flamengo will always defend safety, regulatory compliance, and respect for institutional competencies.
