Flamengo recognises and values the presence of its supporters across all matches, both at the Maracanã and away from Rio de Janeiro. The Nação follows the team throughout the country, and this support is fundamental to the club's strength.

Flamengo understands that ensuring a safe and orderly experience at stadiums is a responsibility shared by clubs, authorities, organisers and all supporters. Particularly in away matches, the club emphasises the importance of arriving early, following access instructions, and using exclusively the gates and sections designated for Flamengo supporters.

During the match against Cruzeiro at the Mineirão on Wednesday, some access irregularities were recorded in areas designated for Flamengo fans. Several factors contributed to these incidents, including supporters arriving very close to kick-off, individuals without valid tickets attempting entry, and unauthorised access attempts through gates not indicated on tickets.

These situations hamper organisation and the work of security personnel, while creating disruptions that ultimately affect the majority of Flamengo supporters who attend the stadium peacefully to back their club.

Flamengo thanks the Military Police of Minas Gerais and all other public bodies involved for their attention and work during the match.

The club remains in dialogue with authorities and organisers to ensure that the Nação can follow Flamengo across Brazil with safety and order.
