Flamengo's rowing team claims 13 medals at Santa Fé South American Games

Flamengo's rowing contingent wrapped up its campaign at the 2026 Santa Fé South American Games with an impressive medal haul for Team Brazil. Across traditional rowing and beach rowing events, the rubro-negro athletes featured in 13 podium finishes, collecting four golds, four silvers and five bronzes in individual and team disciplines.

In traditional rowing, Flamengo posted eight medals. Beatriz Tavares and Jennifer Almeida claimed gold in the women's double sculls. Silver medals came through the women's eight, Isabelle Falck in the women's lightweight single sculls, Beatriz Tavares in the single sculls and the four with Isabelle Falck, Jennifer Almeida and Lara Pizarro among its members. Evaldo Becker in the men's lightweight single sculls, Breno Ornellas in the men's double sculls and the mixed eight secured the three rubro-negro bronzes.

On Wednesday (23rd), beach rowing closed Flamengo's account with five more medals. David Souza topped the podium in the men's individual and men's doubles alongside Yan Costa. Vangelys Reinke and Kissya Cataldo also struck gold in the mixed doubles. Ana Caroline Freire capped the celebration with two bronzes: in the women's individual and women's doubles with Fernanda Nunes.

These results exemplify Flamengo's strong showing on Argentine waters and underscore the club's significant contribution to Brazil's campaign at the South American Games.
