Maracanã has been the stage for countless historic moments in Flamengo's storied past — and Sunday proved no exception for Bruno Henrique. The number 27 reached a significant personal milestone on 13 September, appearing in his 200th match at the Rio de Janeiro venue in Rubro-Negro colours. The occasion was marked in fitting fashion as Flamengo defeated Corinthians 2-1 in the 27th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro, with Bruno Henrique providing the decisive goal.
Since his Maracanã debut in Flamengo's shirt on 29 January 2019 — a 3-1 victory over Boavista in the Carioca Championship — Bruno Henrique has compiled an impressive record at the stadium: 142 wins, 34 draws, 24 defeats, alongside 69 goals and 31 assists.
"I always say it: I'm here to serve Flamengo," Bruno Henrique reflected on his achievement. "I'm someone who works hard, and when opportunity comes, you have to honour wearing this shirt. I want to thank everyone for the affection and support of the Nation since I arrived. They've been fundamental for me, and that's why I value every single supporter who represents Flamengo."
The 200-match milestone sits within a broader arc of excellence for the Brazilian winger. Across 384 appearances for the club, he has scored 121 goals and provided 61 assists, whilst collecting 18 official titles — a tally that places him alongside Arrascaeta among Flamengo's most decorated players in terms of official silverware.
In his first season at Gávea in 2019, Bruno Henrique was named Craque do Brasileirão, crowning a year in which he played a pivotal role in the club's trophy triumphs.
This season, through 2026, the forward has featured in 40 matches, scoring 11 goals and recording eight assists.
As Bruno Henrique continues to write the next chapter of his Flamengo story, the club is honouring his legacy in memorable fashion. On 15 November — Flamengo's anniversary — the number 27 will receive a bust at Gávea, immortalised amongst the club's world champions.
