Flamengo colours will fly high at the Seleção! Attackers Pedro and Samuel Lino have been named in Carlo Ancelotti's 26-man Brazil squad on Wednesday for the nation's upcoming fixtures. The Rubro-Negro duo features among the players selected for the first matches of Ancelotti's new era with the Amarelinha, following the World Cup.
The inclusion of Pedro and Samuel Lino reflects their strong form with Flamengo and underscores the Rio club's standing in Brazilian football. Ten domestic-based players have been called up by Ancelotti for the trio of friendlies.
Pedro and Samuel Lino are among eight forwards in the squad. Alongside Flamengo's pair, the attacking options include Endrick, Estêvão, João Pedro, Raphinha, Rayan and Vinicius Junior.
