BASKETBALL AND VOLLEYBALL LIVE ON FLAMENGOTV

Flamengo Nation will enjoy special basketball and volleyball coverage over the coming weeks. FlamengoTV will bring all the action as the Rubro-Negro teams compete for state titles. The broadcast schedule kicks off with the Flamengo vs Botafogo basketball clash on Wednesday the 23rd at General Severiano, matchday 2 of the state championship, at 8 p.m. On Thursday the 24th, the volleyball women take centre stage in Sesc RJ Flamengo vs Fluminense at Niterói Arena, 7 p.m., for the SuperVolley Cup.

Flamengo's basketball squad opened their 2026/27 campaign with a victory over Fluminense at Tijuca Tênis Clube in the state championship opener. Following the clash with Botafogo, coach Demétrius Ferracciú's team heads to Uruguay for friendlies against Peñarol on the 28th and Biguá on the 29th, both at 8.30 p.m. Both matches in Montevideo will be broadcast live.

On the volleyball front, FlamengoTV will follow Sesc RJ Flamengo from pre-season onwards. The Rubro-Negro squad contests the SuperVolley Cup in Niterói, opening against Fluminense and two days later, on Saturday the 26th, facing Dentil Praia Clube at the same venue, 7 p.m. The teams meet again on October 3rd, this time in Campo Bom, Rio Grande do Sul. Coverage extends beyond warm-ups; the state championship follows.
