Flamengo Launches "Nation Legacy" Platform with "Historic Bid" Charity Auction Uniting Club's Past, Present and Future
Two-stage initiative honors legendary players, supports retired athletes, and invests in youth and women's football

Flamengo has always been far more than football. From that rich legacy, the Nation Legacy platform is born—created to celebrate the club's history and connect generations of red-and-black supporters. The platform's first initiative is the Historic Bid, a charity auction inviting the Nation to participate in an action that bridges the club's past, present, and future.
The Historic Bid is structured around three pillars: honoring the past by supporting former Flamengo players facing financial hardship; celebrating the present through tributes to iconic players Arrascaeta and Bruno Henrique via commemorative busts recognizing their achievements in the red-and-black; and building the future by investing in academy infrastructure and women's football, including construction of a mini-stadium at Ninho do Urubu and support for the Jogaremos Juntos social initiative.
The Historic Bid unfolds in two phases. The first, digital via nacaolegado.flamengo.com.br, is open to all supporters and allows fans to choose how they wish to participate. Those wishing to support the cause and join Nation Legacy can contribute R$ 50 and receive an official digital certificate of recognition.
Those interested in the digital auction can bid for one of 131 spots—with a guest—at the Dinner and Charity Auction to be held at the Maracanã on October 30th, with Arrascaeta, Bruno Henrique, and other club legends in attendance.
On that evening, the second phase and centerpiece of the initiative unfolds: the live auction defining the 21 names to be immortalized on the pedestals of both players' busts. The highest bid will secure the winner's name on both memorials. The next 20 bids will complete the tribute, with 11 names inscribed on each pedestal—mirroring the 11 players in a football team—eternizing these honorees in Flamengo's history.
The night will also feature additional premium auction items, including a dinner with Zico and a guest, the opportunity to watch a Flamengo match at the Maracanã from the Presidential Lounge, a friendly match at Ninho do Urubu for the winner and 35 friends, a limited-edition Hublot watch commemorating 30 years since the Club World Cup, and cloaks worn and signed by Flamengo legends.
