Flamengo mourns death of pioneering executive Paulo Angioni, 80

Clube de Regatas do Flamengo deeply mourns the passing of Paulo Angioni, aged 80.

A pioneering figure in the role of executive football director in Brazil, Angioni forged a career spanning more than four decades dedicated to the game, with spells at major Brazilian clubs and the Brazilian national team. During his tenure at Flamengo, he served as director of football between 1993 and 1997.

Flamengo extends its solidarity to Paulo Angioni's family, friends, and all those who worked alongside him throughout his distinguished journey in football.
