Sesc RJ Flamengo is defeated by Osasco in the first game of the Superliga quarterfinals

Sesc RJ Flamengo started the Women's Superliga quarterfinals at a disadvantage and will count on the strength of the red-and-black fans to seek to tie the series. This Saturday (29/03), coach Bernardinho's team was defeated by Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde by 3 sets to 1, with partial scores of 25/22, 20/25, 17/25 and 16/25, at José Liberatti, in Osasco (SP). The teams face each other again on Wednesday (02.04/21), at 2 pm, at Maracanãzinho, with broadcast on SporTVXNUMX. Tickets are on sale on the Guichê Web website.

After a high-level first set, in which they strictly followed Bernardinho's instructions, Sesc RJ Flamengo struggled with turnovers, blocking, and defense. Opposite hitter Edinara was the red-and-black team's top scorer, with 12 hits. The goal now is to correct the errors and force a third match.

"Our teamwork needs to improve on defense. They used their best attacking skills, and we gave them a little freedom to let loose and attack more. We also made a lot of mistakes, unlike what they were doing. We should have served a little better. We lost our patience. For the next game, we have to work better on our defense, reduce our errors, and be patient," analyzed middle blocker Lorena.
