Samuel Lino has been voted Flamengo's Betano Player of the Month for August. The number 16 earned the accolade from the fanbase following his standout performances in red and black, marking his 80th appearance for the club. Across that span, Lino has recorded 50 wins, 17 draws, 13 defeats, 18 goals and 21 assists.
Since making his debut on July 31, 2025, against Atlético-MG in the Copa do Brasil, the forward has been instrumental in Flamengo's major trophy triumphs. Lino featured prominently in the club's Copa Libertadores and Brazilian Championship campaigns of 2025, as well as the 2026 Rio de Janeiro State Championship.
Upon receiving the award, the player thanked the fanbase and took the opportunity to share the recognition with the entire squad.
"Thanks, Nação, for the award. But this one belongs to our squad. We've had an excellent run of victories this month. Let's keep it going, together with you all," said Samuel Lino.

In the Goal of the Month category, Erick Pulgar claimed the award after a striking effort that proved decisive. The spectacular finish came in Flamengo's 2-0 victory over Vitória on August 9 at the Maracanã, during the 22nd round of the Brazilian Championship. The midfielder executed a precise finish into the corner to open the scoring.
Pulgar's strike marked his sixth goal in a Flamengo shirt across 176 appearances, which include 111 wins, 39 draws, 26 defeats, six goals and nine assists. Since his bow on August 28, 2022, in a 1-0 win over Botafogo in the league, the Chilean midfielder has lifted two Copa Libertadores titles, one Brazilian Championship, one Copa do Brasil, three Rio de Janeiro State Championships and one Copa do Brasil Supercup.
"Thank you, Nação. It was a crucial goal that helped us secure the victory," Pulgar added.
